Nursery Room
In the nursery room, our focus is creating a sense of belonging with your child. Through nurturing experiences and routine engagement, our early childhood educators have one goal in mind, to make your child feel at home and reach their full potential, and this begins with feeling like they belong. Belonging is central to being and becoming in that it shapes who children are and who they can become.
Things to bring for your child
- Hat for outdoor play
- Nappies for the day (approx. 6 nappies per day) – if required
- 2-3 changes of clothes
- Drink bottle, or a cup with a lid for younger children
- Comfort items if required, such as a toy or blanket
- For those younger children who sleep in a sleeping bag, please ensure you bring that in
- For younger children we require you to bring bottles, formula or expressed milk (we provide cow’s milk)
- Medications. Please give these to school staff immediately and complete a Medication Form.
Baby Learning
A Day in Your Baby’s World
A baby’s life thrives on routines, which provide a sense of stability and security. Mealtimes, naps, playtime, cuddle moments, and bedtime are all essential parts of your baby’s day. Predictable routines help infants feel safe and secure while developing trust in the adults around them. They also foster an understanding of everyday events, creating opportunities for learning, such as discovering how to feed themselves.
As babies engage with their surroundings, they begin to anticipate what comes next throughout their day. Over time, they learn to recognize changes in their activities, helping them navigate their world with confidence.
A Purposeful Learning Environment
Our Babies’ Room is thoughtfully designed with the latest Montessori-inspired resources, including natural wooden toys that encourage exploration and learning. The Babies Area also features an outdoor space, allowing babies to connect with nature while being protected by shade and trees from harmful UV rays.
With our carefully crafted, play-based educational programs, your baby will be immersed in a world that nurtures curiosity and growth. They will learn to identify objects, make connections, build relationships, develop resilience, improve concentration, spark creativity, and enhance social and emotional development.
